Application and Selection Process

1. Application:

Applications go through an online form available on our EiR landing page.

The application requires details about your background, entrepreneurial experience, and a preliminary business idea.


2. Initial Screening:

Applications are reviewed by Laika Ventures' team.

Shortlisted candidates are invited to enroll in the first phase of the program.


3. 4-Week Program by Infrastructure Ventures:

Selected candidates participate in a 4-week intensive program provided by Infrastructure Ventures, based on Stanford Research Institute (SRI):


  • Week 1: Customer Centricity

  • Week 2-3: NABC/Business Development

  • Week 4: Customer Persona


4. Selection for EiR Program:


After completing the 4-week program, candidates are evaluated based on their performance, business plan, and potential.

Final selections are made for the 6-month EiR program at Laika Ventures.

Onboarding (1 Week)

An intense week of onboarding at our offices with the Laika Ventures team to prepare EiR for the future.

Day 1: Welcome and Orientation

Day 2: Deep Dive into the Venture Studio

  • Business Development Strategies

  • Marketing and Growth Hacking

  • Product Development and Management



Day 3: Hands-On Workshops and Training

  • Project Management Tools and Techniques

  • Data Analysis and Metrics

  • Legal and Compliance Basics



Day 4: Meet the Teams and Start Projects

  • Introduction to Team Members

  • Project Planning

  • Tools and Resources Deep Dive


Day 5: Strategy and Execution

  • Strategic Planning

  • Execution and Project Management

  • Feedback and Adjustment

Day 6: Integration and Continuous Learning

  • Advanced Business Development Techniques

  • Tech Trends and Innovations (Web3, AI, Data)

Next Six Months: Incubation Program

 

Participation in Partner's Incubation Program:


Develop business ideas and build your startup with the support of mentors and partners.

Engage in collaborative projects with other EIRs and portfolio startups.


Key Focus Areas:

  • Business Development and Strategy

  • Marketing and Growth Hacking

  • Scale Sales

  • Product Development and Management

  • Legal and Compliance


Weekly and Monthly Reviews:


Weekly sync meetings to ensure consistent progress and address any challenges.

Monthly Business Reviews (MBR) to evaluate performance, review key metrics, and set goals for the upcoming month.



Completion of the Sales Training Class by InfrasVen:

Setting up an outbound sales capability.

Running two sales campaigns to apply learned sales techniques.

Sales Campaign Execution:

Develop and execute two sales campaigns, focusing on different target markets.

Analyze campaign performance and optimize strategies for better results.

Final Review and Feedback:


Conduct a final review of the business plans and sales campaigns.

Receive detailed feedback from mentors and peers.

Prepare a final presentation showcasing the startup's progress and achievements.

Graduation and Next Steps:


Celebrate the completion of the EiR program with a graduation event.

Discuss potential next steps for each EIR, including possible investments, continued mentorship, and support from the Venture Studio.

Peer Review of Proposed Business Plan:

Each EIR will present a proposed business plan.

Conduct peer reviews to provide constructive feedback.

Refine business plans based on peer input and mentor guidance.
